The Helicon S600 (S for subwoofer) is designed to visually and acoustically match the Helicon Series. The
Helicon S600 enclosure is made according to the same principles as the
other Helicon speakers minus; very strong laminated panels, veneered and high
gloss polished. The beautifully curved top can also act as a perfect
cradle for the Helicon C200 center speaker. In a stereo
set-up, the importance of a subwoofer is often underestimated. It is
regarded as an option, rather than a necessity. However, in
listening sessions with direct comparisons of a stereo set-up with and
without a subwoofer, it is commonly agreed that a subwoofer increases
